Kathy Fujii-Oka, Nancy Hom and Cynthia Tom attended a very valuable all day conference in San Francisco yesterday. It was sponsored competely by the California Wellness Foundation. Panel discussions included experts and information regarding explanations of the current state of non-profit funding, focus on the economy now and how to uncover future needs based on what the economy has done to our particular communities, suggestions of where the money is, how to use Social and New media, branding and most important is that funders, due to our economic times, is collaboration and partnering to demonstrate good financial sterwardship and a conciousness for sustainability.
Now, how do they put the information into action.
